Madea Goes to Jail

This movie is the result of what we all have been waiting for. If you have been apart of the ride with Madea, then you’ve known that she only has one more chance. It was only a matter of time before she did something crazy, yet funny, that will lead her to jail. Madea loves getting even. In fact she has to “get the gotter who got her”. She doesn’t believe in getting over and forgiving. In Madea Goes to Jail, the one striking scene that is the first step to sending her to prison ends up in her removing a car from the parking spot that she wanted with a bulldozer. We all get mad at the drivers who take our spots or cut us off on the road. Madea does what we all wish we could do. The unthinkable! However she gets off on this case as Judge Maybeline puts her on house arrest and warns her. She soon comes home to find that her older brother, who is on oxygen and still smoking, is having a house party. She was not aware of this. She doesn’t like it, of course. Yet, she is calm about it. We all know that Madea is up to something. She does not like the fact of not being in control. She was just told to calm down, and indeed she tried for about 3 minutes. Next, you see everybody running out of her house due to gunshots! No one other then Madea! She is not playing! She had to “get the gotters” and the police finally got her.
Besides the fact that this is also a love story, Madea makes it a happy one. A lawyer also finds that he has to handle a case for his ex best friend. He is about to get married and his fiancé does not like the attention that he gives to his ex best friend. We find out that he feels as if he owes her, the ex best friend, because of her being raped when they were in college. She is a prostitute and he wants to get her off the streets. Being that his fiancé is a lawyer too, she piles time on his ex best friend to spend in jail so that he does not have to deal with her and give her his time. He finds out what his fiancé did and gets the friend out of jail. Also he walks out on their wedding day while letting all friends and family know what type of scandalous bride she is. Not only does the ex best friend gets out of jail, but so does Madea. Everybody is chanting for Madea and somehow she gets out. Dr. Phil tries to work with Madea, but he can’t even handle or change her. The lawyer and ex best friend finds that they do have a romantic love for each other and Madea, in the end “gets the gotters”. This is truly a must see movie if you love to laugh. Yet, who doesn’t? You cannot resist loving Madea because everybody does!
